Today sees the unveiling of the dynamic and informative website for the Hi-Tec World Squash Championships – Manchester 2008, which is now live at http://www.worldsquashchampionships2008.com.

Although there is still a year to go before the world’s leading players arrive at the National Squash Centre in Manchester, interest in the championships is starting to build up and the bespoke website, which has been created by award-winning design company Reading Room, is packed full of fascinating information, and is a must visit for all squash fans.

As well as details on the tournament, the site also features articles on the history of the sport and the world championships, as well as profiles on the world’s top players who will be battling it out in Manchester next year for the title of World Champion. Fans are even able to purchase tickets now for the event next autumn.

Paul Walters, Event Director for The Hi-Tec World Squash Championships – Manchester 2008, said, “It’s fantastic that we’ve been able to launch the website a full year in advance of what promises to be the biggest and best World Championships ever staged.

“The site has been designed to provide interesting content for all levels of squash fans, as well as important event information. The site will be the definitive source of information for all matters relating to the championships and through strong and consistent event branding will redefine and present the championships in a way that differs from other squash events.”

The site will contain all the latest news from the championships, and as the event draws closer it will have comprehensive details on travel and accommodation information in Manchester, as well as an online shop packed full with a wide range of official merchandise.
